Adam Gress

Of Pittsburgh, on December 21, 2017, age 26.  Beloved son of Lisa (Pido) and the late Armand “Army” Gress; loving fiancé of Angela Torchia; brother of Armand John Gress; grandson of Lorraine and John Pido; nephew of John Pido Jr, David (Jennifer) Gress and Chris (Erin) Gress; also survived by cousins, extended family and friends.  Adam started playing football at West Mifflin High School and then moved on to become a Penn State football letterman.  After college, he spent a short time with the New York Giants.  Family and friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall on Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 and 6-9 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be Thursday, 10 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, Homestead. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.  In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to “Lift for Life” P.O Box 609 Harrisburg, PA 17108 (www.upliftingathletes.org), an organization that Adam was very active in and passionate about.
