Beloved sister, aunt and friend, Agnes B. Kovac, 88, of Duquesne, passed away December 7, 2016. She was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Church in West Mifflin, and a retired billing clerk at Homestead Works, U.S. Steel Corporation. Born in Duquesne on January 11, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Memzcik) Kovac. Her brothers John, Joseph, Michael, Paul, William and Lawrence predeceased her. She was also predeceased by nephews Bernard, John Jr., Gary and nieces Joan and Charlotte. She is survived by nieces and nephews. Agnes was a caring, loving and selfless person who was good to all her family and friends. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. The world would be a much better place if more people were like Agnes. Family and friends will be received on Friday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall. Mass of Christian burial to celebrate her life will be Saturday 9:30 AM at Holy Trinity Church with Fr. Tom Lewandowski officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The family wishes to thank Fr. Jerome Vereb, priest at Paramount, who ministered to Agnes, the hospice staff at Paramount for their compassion, comfort and support and John Kamaro, devoted caretaker to Agnes, whose assistance, kindness and caring will always be remembered and was much appreciated.
