Elizabeth Grace “Betty” Bell (LeGette)

Of West Mifflin, beloved wife for 64 years of James K. Bell, and beloved mother of Jamie (& Dana Earl), Tom (& Jill) and Jeff (& Lori) Bell passed from this world on September 22, 2015. Beloved grandmother of Adrienne and Jimmy Bell, Tabatha Williams and Alicia Lueke, and beloved great grandmother of Christopher Matthew and Ashleigh Botens and Olivia Jeremay of Ohio. And beloved aunt of Patsy Popoleo, Ernie Junstrom, Pamela Ford, numerous other nieces and nephews, and great aunt of Brandon, Alyssa and Miranda Ford and Adam, Eric and Lindsay Junstrom. Also beloved sister of the late Bob LeGette, Jo-Anne Hixson, Ruth Early and other late siblings. A devoted Pittsburgh Pirates fan, Betty also loved tennis player Novak Djokovic and the movies Sound of Music and It’s a Wonderful Life. She made the best mac n cheese in town, as well as yummy tollhouse cookies and shortbread. Most of all, she loved her family and all who came into her life with boundless generosity of spirit and integrity. She will be greatly missed by those she left behind, who will never forget her and who will keep her in their hearts.  Friends received Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, Friday 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held at Anne Ashley United Methodist Church, where Betty was a lifelong member and supporter, on Saturday at 11:00 am.
