Dolores Elizabeth (Kish) Casper

Nov. 19 - Nov. 29, 2016, Dolores was born in Homestead, PA. Daughter of the late Joseph Kish and Marie Fedorko Kish. Dolores attended modeling and airline school in NYC and worked as a receptionist at KDKA Radio in the late 40's -1950. She met her husband Bill when he was a lifeguard and saved her in the ocean, followed by 45 years of happy days. Dolores lived in Williamsburg, PA when her late husband Bill was the basketball coach of the 1957-58 PIAA championship team and then moved to West Mifflin, where Bill coached West Mifflin North High School basketball. Dolores spent recent years with her daughters in Miami, FL and spent years traveling the world on cruises and made pilgrimages to Lourdes, Fatima and Santiago. Dolores enjoyed great years in San Juan, Puerto Rico when her daughters lived there. She is survived and adored by daughters, Karen, Kathy and Karol living in Miami, FL and her nephews, Keith and Kevin Kuros, sons of her dear late sister Marion Kuros. And wonderful friends/neighbors Don and Helen Kish. Dolores was an avid Steelers fan and great Slovak cook, preparing family recipes all her life and being a part of countless family celebrations. Love to Mark Rosandich for the best meals ever. She will be missed to eternity and would want everyone to have a champagne toast in her honor. Friends/family are invited to viewing SAVOLSKIS - WASIK - GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main St., Munhall, PA Thurs., Dec 8, 2016, from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mass will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church in Munhall at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, followed by burial in St. Mary Cemetery.
