Dolores Magdalene Tomlan

Age 84 of West Homestead suddenly on May 2, 2015.  Beloved daughter of the late Leopold A. and Elizabeth (Butko) Tomlin; Cousin of Elizabeth (late Albert "Bud") Belan, Joan Ezak, Laurie Belan (Jay) Jadwin and several other cousins; also survived by her close friend Marshall. Dolores was a retired Professor Emeritus at Community College Allegheny County - Boyce Campus. Her interests were in higher education, adult education, business communication, and curriculum development. She was an active member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association and was dedicated to promoting the perpetuation of her Slovak heritage. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and many colleagues. Friends received at the Savolskis - Wasik - Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., A Funeal Mass will be held at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, Homestead, Friday at 10 a.m. followed by Interment in St. Michael Cemetery, West Mifflin.
