Donald G. Ellenberger

Of Munhall, on January 14, 2017, age 90.  He was born in Punxsutawney, PA to the late Glen and Clara Ellenberger.  Beloved husband of 60 years of Margaret Ellenberger (Goda); father of Donald T. (Gina) Ellenberger of Mars, PA and Thomas M. Ellenberger of Boynton Beach, FL; grandfather of Rachel, Julia and John; also survived by nieces and nephews.  Don served in the Navy during WWII and received the following awards, American Theater Ribbon, Asiatic Pacific Ribbon (two stars), Philippine Liberation Ribbon and Victory Medal.  Upon discharge he received a diploma from Pittsburgh Diesel and Automotive School. He was employed by the A. B. Dick Corp. and retired with 35 years of service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Therese School, Munhall.  Friends received Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, Tuesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm.  Funeral Mass Wednesday, 12:00 Noon, St. Therese Church, Munhall, with Fr. Nick Mastrangelo officiating.
