Francis Xavier McGuire

Of Munhall and Sarasota, FL, on August 14, 2016, age 86.  Beloved husband of the late Carol (Cumpston) McGuire; son of the late John L. and Mary McGuire; father of Mary (Charles) Rosinski, Patrick (Kathy) McGuire and the late Timothy  (former spouse, Lisa, survives) McGuire and Robert (former spouse, Missy, survives) McGuire; grandfather of Emily, Charles, Sean, Caitlyn, Marcus, Nolan, Shane and Maura; brother of the late Margaret Vislay, Dorothy Fitzgibbons, Rosemary McGuire, Eugene McGuire, Patrick McGuire, Jack McGuire and Joseph McGuire.  Fran retired from J & L Steel with 37 years of service and was an Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.  He was a member of the Irish Centre of Pittsburgh, Western PA Korean War Veterans Assocation and the VFW Post 3233 of Sarasota, FL.  Friends received Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, Monday 6 to 9 pm and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm.  Funeral Mass Wednesday, 10:00 am, St. Therese Church, Munhall, followed by burial in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 12:30 pm with military honors.
