Hilda M. (Goempel) Kanczes

Of Pittsburgh, on January 16, 2015, age 86.  Beloved wife of the late Alexander Benjamin Kanczes; daughter of the late Frederick and Elizabeth Goempel; loving mother of Matthew Kanczes, Charlie Kanczes, Mary Johnston, Patti Kanczes, Ed Kanczes, Greg Kanczes, Alan Kanczes, Veronica Kanczes and the late Frank Kanczes; sister of Mary Renckly, Regina Geisler, Susan Wild and the late Fred Jr., Robert, James, and Paul Goempel; also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  Hilda was a stenographer for Allegheny County Health Dept and was a member of the crochet club and bereavement group at Holy Angels Church. Family and friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall on Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, 11:00 AM at St. Agnes Church, West Mifflin.
