Margaret "Marge" (Yanyo) Khorey

Of West Mifflin, on September 25, 2017, age 86.  Beloved wife of 62 years of Eugene Khorey; daughter of the late George and Anna Yanyo; mother of Denise (late Robert) Harriman of Somerset, PA, David (Jennifer) Khorey of Grand Rapids, MI and Douglas (Lisa) Khorey of Pittsburgh; sister of Lawrence (Caryl) Yanyo of Munhall and the late Mildred and Anna Yanyo; grandmother of Chris (Alison), Cassie, Analee, Wendy, Joanna, Noah, Nina and Alex; great grandmother of George; also survived by special nieces, Laurie, Lynn, Marlene and Robin and brother in law, Edward Khorey of Munhall.  Margaret grew up in Munhall Gardens.  She attended St. John the Baptist and Munhall Schools.  She was a 1949 Graduate of Munhall High School and especially proud graduate of Braddock Hospital School of Nursing.  She worked as a nurse for many years including for Dr. Ilyas, Dr. Wall and Allegheny Podiatry.  She was a faithful member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral.  Family and friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.  Trisagion Service will be Friday 8 PM at the funeral home.  Visitation will also be Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 11 AM at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral 3400 Dawson Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Margaret’s name to Jefferson Hospital Intensive Care Unit or St. George Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral.
