Robert W. Penwell

Of West Homestead, on May 22, 2016, age 85. Beloved husband of 60 years of the late Marlys Arlene (Weckerly) Penwell; son of the late William and Margaret (Donaldson) Penwell; father of Marcia (Barry McKee) Matta of Coraopolis and Sandy (Jeff) Staudt of Munhall; grandfather of Michael Matta Jr., Ashley Matta, Liza (Jonathan) Bursich, Travis (Jamie Condrin) Staudt and Brooke Staudt; great-grandfather of Ben, Samantha and Elizabeth.  Robert was an Army Veteran serving during Korea and retired from U. S. Steel Homestead Works.  Friends received Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, Tuesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm.   A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 am at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with military honors.
