Robert J. "Bob" Schraeder

Of Munhall Gardens, Bob unexpectedly went home to be with his personal Lord and Savior on July 7, 2015 age 69.  Born April 20, 1946 in Braddock, he was the son of the late William A. and Mary Julia (Rubinchak) Schraeder. He was the beloved husband of 46 years to Teresa “Terry” (Marchlenski) Schraeder; loving and proud father to his only daughter, Leeann Cramer; special grandfather and role model to Sara and Cameron Cramer; dear brother of William J. Schraeder; brother in law of Kenneth (Bobbie) Marchlenski and dear friend of Jack Foust.  Bob worked as a welder at Westinghouse Electric in Trafford, a parts driver for McCraken Olds on Route 51 and was a window maker for Thermal Industries in Murrysville.  He was a former member of the now defunct St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Dravosburg.  Bob loved coffee and was nicknamed “Mr. Coffee” by his friends and co workers.  He loved to go to Mr. Hoagie in Dravosburg because it was a pleasant place with its special employees that he enjoyed spending time with and of course drinking coffee there.  He had a wonderful gift of wit and made people laugh with his “zingers”.  Family and friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall on Friday 2-8 PM.  A Funeral Service will be Saturday, 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Pastor John Gropp officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bob’s memory to the Wounded Warriors Project 301 Grant Street Suite 900 Pittsburgh, PA 15219 or Animal Friends 562 Camp Horne Road Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
