Of West Homestead, on September 10, 2016, age 76.  He was born February 15, 1940 to the late Louis and Margaret (Yakim) Wargo.   Bob is survived by his wife of 53 loving years, Anna Marie (Smoley) Wargo, sons, Craig (Cathy) Wargo and Bobby Wargo, daughter, Susie (Paul) Bodziach, and sister-in-law Joanne Smoley.  Extremely proud PapPap to CJ and Chrissy Wargo and Step Pap to Steve (Megan) Borushko and Josie (Jerry) Ross; Great-Grandpap of Maria Ross and Mary Borushko; PapPap to four “fur babies”, Sammie, Bella, Thor and the late Attie; unlce of Timmy (Connie) Smoley, David (Tracey) Smoley and Michelle (Jeff) Scripp. Bob was blessed to be loved by great nephews, a great niece, extended family both near and far, and his church family.  He was preceded in death by brother Edward and his wife Wilma Wargo and brother-in-law Ronald Smoley.

Bob graduated from Homestead High School in 1958 and Carnegie Tech (now Carnegie Mellon University) in 1962.  He worked for 42 years as an electrical engineer at Bechtel Bettis Atomic Plant in West Mifflin.  He was elected to the Steel Valley School Board serving for 16 years and was most proud of presenting his younger son and daughter with their high school dilpolmas during his terms.  He has been a member of the St. John’s CAMEO Club and both Bob and Anna Marie enjoyed working coffee socials along with friends, Lorraine and Nick, and Mary Ann and Ernie.

Bob was a devoted husband, the best father three kids could ever call Dad, and a man who would give the shirt off his back to a perfect stranger.  He would go out of his way to help anyone and would drop everything in order to be there for his family and friends.
