Michael "Mickey" Harkovich

Age 87, was called to be with the Lord on January 12, 2018. Mickey was born April 2, 1930 to the late Michael and Mary (Kacsala) Harkovich of Munhall.  Mickey is survived by the love of his life of 65 years, Rosie (Cerda) Harkovich. Together they have two daughters, Barb Parker and Lynn (Ron) Bohin both of Munhall. Mickey is also survived by his sister Betty Jane (Jack) Macko of West Mifflin. Mickey was a proud grandfather of three; His first and cherished grandchild, Chrissy Parker; His favorite – Tracy (Jimmy) Williams and His best buddy and helper who he loved, Ronnie Bohin. He was also a great-grandfather to Madison and Tyler Williams and Camrin Clark. He is also survived by his dog “Buddy”. Mickey worked for Munhall Borough from 1963-2010. He was an extremely hard worker who always wanted things done his way… The right way. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, and was always constructing something. But most of all he loved his family and spending time with them. Mickey was also a member of Munhall #5 Fire Hall. Friends received Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home Inc., 3501 Main St. Munhall, on Monday  1-7:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday 10 am at Resurrection Church, West Mifflin.
