Amelia Olga (Tilves) Hess

Of West Mifflin, on September 1, 2017, age 90.  Born in Homestead to the late Apolinar and Mary (Frederick) Tilves;  beloved wife of 67 years of Thomas R. Hess; mother of Pam (Wayne) Bugel of North Carolina, Amy (Larry) Hartzer of Whitaker, Tom (Cathy) Hess of Munhall, Bill (Jim Pollard) Hess of Indiana, Mary Jo (Denis) Pasay of Munhall and Tina (Bill) Mattis of West Mifflin; sister of the late Rose, Richard, Donald and Joseph; grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 6 with one on the way; also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Amelia was a former employee of St. Therese Church.  She spent many summers in Conneaut Lake and many winters in Florida.  She enjoyed eating out and being with her family.  Family and friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall on Sunday and Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be Tuesday 10 AM at St. Therese Church, Munhall.  Entombment to follow at Lebanon Church Cemetery.
