Dr. Albert Michael Sklencar, PhD

Of West Homestead, on August 26, 2018, age 83.  Son of the late Michael and Anna (Fenyus) Sklencar; brother of Dorothy Yankel and Ronald (Mary Jo) Sklencar; uncle of Karen Yankel, John (Pam) Yankel, Christine Yankel, Susan Yankel, William Yankel, Diane Yankel, Charles Yankel, Michael (Margaret) Sklencar, Jessica (Zane) Snyder, Robert (Samantha) Sklencar and Joseph Sklencar; great uncle of Shane Davis, Dyllan Yankel, Cai Yankel, Ming Yankel, Marissa Sklencar, Cassandra Sklencar and Nora Sklencar.  Albert retired from Westinghouse Atomic Power as a nuclear engineer.  He was a member of the Phi Lambda Theta and Sigma Phi Honorary Societies.  Albert was more than just a beloved brother and uncle but like a devoted and loving grandfather to many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall on Wednesday and Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be Friday, 11 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, Homestead.  Memorial contributions may be made in Albert’s memory to St. Maximilian Kolbe Church.
