Edward W. Mence

Of Homestead, on June 21, 2019, age 77.  Beloved husband of 44 Years to Mary Mence (Ford); father of Edward J. Mence, Thomas Lowrey, Patricia Lowrey, Elizabeth Geczi and Anna Grenier; brother of James Mence, Ruth Ann Parkinson, Bobbi Jo Einhorn, Robert Shaw and the late Eugene Mence; also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  Ed was a veteran of the Army, a member of the VFW and a member of various social clubs in the area.  Friends received Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm where a service will be held Friday at 12 noon, followed by burial at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA at 2 pm with military honors.
