Elizabeth "Betty" Jean (Snyder) Judy

Of West Homestead, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Shelbourne Personal Care Facility, Butler, PA, age 89.  Born in Mifflin Township, PA on March 1, 1928, she was the youngest of nine children and the daughter of the late Anna (Andres) and Leo Snyder. She was the loving wife of the late Regis Foster Judy. She is survived by two sisters, Virginia Beveridge and Marguerite Oeler, and six children: Deborah (Allen) Korhnak, Marguerite Judy, Regis (Patricia) Judy Jr, Kevin (Ellen) Judy, Terrence (Laura) Judy, David (Michelle) Judy, 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her stillborn son, Francis Raymond, and two grandchildren, David Michel, and Sarah Elizabeth.  Elizabeth was a graduate of Duquesne High School, and the Pittsburgh School of Beauty Culture. She worked as a beautician at the Dolly Allen Beauty Shoppe in Duquesne, PA for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed painting, bowling, gardening and walking. She was a parishioner of St. Therese Catholic Church in Munhall, PA.   Family and friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120, on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be Saturday, 10 AM at St. Therese Church, Munhall.  Interment to follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, West Mifflin.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Elizabeth’s name can be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 8^th Avenue, 7^th Floor, New York, NY 10001, 1-866-232-8484.
