Ellen (Alesius (Ellis)) Rakoski

Of Munhall, peacefully with her family by her side on September 13, 2017 at Asbury Heights, age 91.  Beloved wife of the late Stanley Rakoski; mother of Sandra (late Donald) Jensen, Rebecca (John) Miklos, Stanley C. Rakoski, Kimberly (Scott) Shetter and the late Carol DeFransesco; sister of the late Isabelle Zima and Edward Alesius; also survived by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  Family and friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall on Thursday 6-8 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be Friday, 10 AM at St. Therese Church, Munhall.  Ellen was a former member of SS. Peter and Paul Church in Homestead.  She was a woman who loved life, loved family and most of all, babies.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Cancer Research or 1^st Presbyterian Church of Castle Shannon.
