Of Munhall and Delray Beach, FL on September 11, 2018, we lost our dear Aunt Louise, to a brief battle with brain cancer. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Charles “Ray” McKinney and her dear nephew-in-law Joey Gentile. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Marlene (Robert) Gollinger; her nieces and nephews, Bonnie (Bob Hatcher) Gorbaty, Dick (Mandy) Marshall, Cheryl Gentile, Bob (Beth) Marshall, Terri (Jim Kenkel) Gollinger, Lori (Jay) Stauffer and Rob (Tammy) Gollinger; great-nieces and nephews Carrie, Jessie, Stephanie, Katie, Alicia, Sara, Marie, John, Dylan, Carson and Caelyn; and great-great nieces and nephews Madison, Ella, Layla and Ace, all of whom loved their Auntie LuLu. Louise had a zillion loyal friends—her very dear friends Louise and Jim Walsh, the card club ladies, her neighbors, church friends, former coworkers, all of whom lovingly came to her side when she lost Ray this past January and recently while she battled cancer. Louise was always active in her church and was deeply devoted to her faith. Louise began her working career with Bell Telephone as a switch operator, progressing through the ranks to be one of the first female Bell-trained engineers. After retirement, she became a Delray Beach, Florida resident but kept her Munhall home to visit family. Family and friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall on Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be Friday, 11 AM at Corpus Christi Church, McKeesport. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made in Louise’s memory to Cleaningforareason.org or Hairpeace.org.
