Matthew J. Merichko

Of Munhall, on January 7, 2018, age 59.  Beloved son of the late John Sr. and Mary Alice (Stinogle) Merichko; loving father of Jennifer (Ryan Perhac) Merichko and Justin M. Merichko; brother of John “Bo” (Kris) Merichko Jr., Robert “Mitch” (Diana) Merichko and the late Mary Ann Gniazdowski and Mark Merichko; grandfather of Dominique and Hunter; uncle of Robert, Brian, Michael, Joey and the late John Jr.; great uncle of Anna, Josiah, Angelica, Liam and Jade.  Matthew was a crane operator for U.S. Steel Irvin Works and was also a coach and on the Board of Directors for Munhall Baseball Association.  He was a regular at Falce’s and enjoyed spending time there, eating many meals with his friends.  Matthew was a loving father and grandfather and will be forever missed by those who knew him.  Friends and family will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall on Thursday 2-4 and 6-9 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be Friday, 10 AM at St. Therese Church, Munhall.
