Thomas R. Hess Sr.

Of West Mifflin, on September 24, 2018, age 91.  Son of the late John and Mary (Redinger) Hess; beloved husband of 67 years to the late Amelia Olga (Tilves) Hess; father of Pamela (Wayne) Bugel of North Carolina, Amy (Larry) Hartzer of Whitaker, Tom (Cathy) Hess Jr. of Munhall, Bill (Jim Pollard) Hess of Indiana, Mary Jo (Denis) Pasay of Munhall and Tina (Bill) Mattis of West Mifflin; brother of John (Becky) Hess of Florida, Robert (Millie) Hess of South Park and the late Ronald (late Dorothy) Hess; loving grandpap of 11 and great grandpap of 7; also survived by nieces and nephews.  Tom was a Veteran of the Navy serving during WWII and Korea.  He retired from the customer service department at Peoples Gas.  After retirement, Tom enjoyed spending many enjoyable summers at Conneaut Lake and winters in Florida.  Family and friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall on Wednesday 4-8 PM and Thursday 2-8 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be held Friday 10 AM at St. Therese Church, Munhall.
