Alan "Bud" R. Mahoney Jr.

Alan "Bud" Robert Mahoney Jr. passed away on March 31, 2026, at the age of 65. He was married to his beloved wife, Beth, for 42 years—a partnership rooted in love, loyalty, and shared life. Together they built a family that meant everything to him. He was a proud father to his son, Alan “Bob” Robert (Samantha) Mahoney III and his daughter, Lindsay (Jesse) Callaro, and an adoring “Pappy” to Elliot and Thea.

He is also survived by his father, Alan “Bob” Robert Mahoney Sr.; his brother, Randy (Kelly) Mahoney; and his sister, Melanie (Michael) Stokes. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marlene Mahoney, whom he lost in November 2023.

Bud was known for his kind heart, creativity, and love for the little joys in life—painting intricate models, collecting Hot Wheels and monster memorabilia, and relaxing on the front porch with his loyal dog, Augie.

He brought warmth, laughter, and quiet generosity to everyone around him and will be deeply missed. Bud’s spirit lives on in the joy he gave, the friends he cherished, and the family he loved.

Friends and family to be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, 15120, Saturday, April 4th, 2026 from 2 - 4 PM and 6 - 8 PM. A funeral service will take place at 3:30 PM. Interment will follow on Monday, April 6th, 2026 at Lebanon Church Cemetery, West Mifflin at 10:00 AM.
