Alma "Kooter" Teresa (Cush) Anderson

Alma “Kooter” Anderson, of Munhall, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 12, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Anderson, whom she now reunites with in heaven after 40 years. She was the best friend and mother to daughter, Erin Anderson, and shared a bond that would never be broken.

She was the daughter of the late Alma and Harry Cush. She was predeceased by siblings Rosemarie “Bebe” McCallister, Raymond Cush, James Cush, Shirley Pido, and Herky Cush. She is survived by her siblings, Joy Kardos, June (Duane) Brown, and William (Linda) Cush and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews, to all of whom she was the matriarch. She is also survived by a large extended family and friends that will miss her dearly.

Kooter and Don were previous owners of the Ravine Bar until 1982, and she returned in 1987 to work at Pido’s Pub for the next 31 years until the doors closed in 2018. People still talk about how delicious her pizzas were, and how quick she was with a comeback.

A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, January 16th, 2026, 11 AM, at St. Therese Church, 1 St. Therese Court, St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Munhall.
