Alvin R. Bell, of West Mifflin, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family on October 3, 2020, at the age of 75. He is survived by his children, Aaron W. (Michelle) Bell and Mishelle H. Zitelli; grandchildren, Austin, Courtnie, and Jeremy Zitelli, and Aaron and Alyssa Bell; brothers, Lon and Howard Bell; and dear friend, Patricia Evagues. He was welcomed home by his parents, Kent and Ethel (Sargent) Bell; and son, Christopher R. Bell.
Alvin was a former boiler maker for the Duquesne USS Works, and retired as a General Contractor of his company, A. R. Bell Construction, where he strived to live his motto of "no job too small." He was affectionately known as Mr. Magic. He enjoyed working in his garden and pond, and could often be found tinkering in his garage. His best advice is to use duct tape or gorilla glue if it moves and it's not supposed to. Alvin was influential to many young lives, and his legacy will live on through all who knew him.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, October 5, 4-8 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Condolences may be left at www.swgfuneralhome.com.
