Amelia Tirpak (Gentile) of West Homestead, passed away one day shy of her 93rd birthday, on June 19, 2021. Daughter of the late Carlo and Catherina (Logozzo) Gentile. Beloved wife of 70 years to Dr. Edward Tirpak. Loving mother of Nancy (William) Blick, Patricia (Joseph) Quirin, Laura (David) Takach and Edward C. (Dina) Tirpak. Sister of Nicholas Gentile, Rev. Carl Gentile, Rina Thomas and Dr. Anthony Gentile. Grandmother of William E. Blick, Gina Roth, Leah Stephens-Howling, Michael C. Blick, Jon Tirpak, Matthew Takach, Joseph and Gia Tirpak. Also survived by 8 great-grandchildren. Friends received at the Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home Inc. 3501 Main Street, Munhall, on Thursday, June 24, 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 25, 10:00 AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Church of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Munhall. Interment to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
