Ann Marie Kline Obituary

Ann Marie Kline, formerly of Homestead and Munhall, passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age 92.

She was the loving mother of Robert S. (Jan) Kline, Cindy M. (Gary) Hoffman, and Laurie A. (Greg) Hauser; adoring grandmother of Tyler Kline, Shane (LeEtta) Kline, Stephanie (Cody) Dickerson, Katarina (Jimmy) Makaravage; great-grandmother of James Makaravage and Michael DiSanto; daughter of the late George and Ann (Romanchuk) Opsitos; sister of George (Barb) Opsitos, and the late Martha M. Opsitos; also survived by many cousins, three nephews, and a niece.

Ann retired as a Payroll Clerk from the Bettis Laboratory in June, 2000, after almost 20 years of service.  Prior to that, she worked in clerical positions at numerous companies, including US Steel and several car dealerships.  She was a kind and loving woman who will always be loved by those who were blessed to know her.

She was a living example of the fruits of the Spirit:  love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).  She always had a kind word and was a loving daughter, granddaughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She was a care giver to her family and was so grateful for the care she received in her later years.

She always had a smile and a "thank you honey" for her care givers.  She had the most infectious giggle, she loved music and loved to sing along. Ann enjoyed trips to the casino, cars and driving, bowling, and spending time with friends and family. She was a lifelong caregiver. Ann was a proud lifelong member and former officer of the St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, and was an active member of their ACRY and Mothers Club. She would often help in their kitchen baking for church functions.

Special thanks to the loving and compassionate care givers at Monarch Hospice and Overlook Green Assisted Living. Ann and our family much appreciated their love and care for her, their "Anna Banana."
