Anna Marie (Cornetta) Ebbitt

Of West Mifflin, Anna passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her bedside, on September 30, 2024, age 87.  Daughter of the late Michael and Frances (Ciolli) Cornetta; beloved wife of 65 years of the late John W. Ebbitt; loving mother of Patrick Ebbitt and the late Diane Marie Ebbitt; sister of the late Martin (Rita) Cornetta, Theresa (Angelo) Giampa and sister in law to Charles (Anjeline) Ebbitt; also survived by nieces,  nephews and cousins from the Ebbitt, Giampa, Cornetta and Ciolli families.   Anna was a retired longtime employee of West Mifflin School District.  She loved bowling, slot machines and surfing the internet.  She was the best Italian cook in Pittsburgh!  Lovingly known as “Auntie” she was kind to everyone and was loved by her family.  A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 11 AM at Lebanon Church Cemetery 2615 Old Elizabeth Road West Mifflin, Pa 15122.  Everyone please meet at the cemetery.  Following the service a luncheon will be held at Yolis Restaurant 1101 PA-885 Jefferson Hills, PA 15025.  Donations may be made in Anna’s memory to St. Jude Hospital, Washington County Food Bank, American Lung Association or the St. Labre Indian School.  Condolences may be left at www.swgfuneralhome.com
