Anthony Joseph "AJ" DeFrances

Anthony Joseph "AJ" DeFrances, of West Mifflin, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on June 22, 2024, at the age 39.

He was the beloved husband of 12 years of Lindsey DeFrances; cherished son-in-law of Roxanne Hochstine; son of Susan (Rogers) Dolney; step-son of William Dolney; brother of Trisha (Russ) Schneider; also survived by his fur children, Budders, Marley, Jelly, Dutchess, Mary Jane, Sid, Peanut, and Luna; and many friends.

AJ loved fishing, soccer, riding motorcycles, recreational activities, hockey, football, cars (he was a walking encyclopedia of all cars), watching sunsets, playing video games, and Turners Tea.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, June 28, 2-4 & 6-9 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC.,  3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120, where a Funeral Service will take place at 8 PM.

***As a reminder to those who are traveling to the Funeral Home on Friday, June 28, Main Street will be closed from 4 PM - 9 PM for Market Night. We apologize for any inconvenience. If you are traveling on Main Street from Lincoln Place, you can turn right onto Caroline Street, left onto McWhinney Street, and left onto Superior Street. Our parking lot will be accessible at the bottom of Superior Street. If you are traveling on Main Street from Homestead, you can turn left onto E. Eugene Avenue, right onto Hill Street, and right onto E. Virginia Avenue. The back entrance to our parking lot will be accessible as you get closer to Main Street.***
