Arlene M. (Ambro) Luther

Arlene M. Luther, of Whitaker, passed away on March 29, 2022, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth W. Luther; sons, Joshua (Stephanie Stout) Luther and Kyle Luther; sister, Dorothy (Joseph) Prementine; her best friends, Rita Funya and Dr. Elaine Elder, ScD; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded by her parents, John and Mary (Sabol) Ambro; brother, Clement “Sonny” Ambro; and sisters, Martha Pallotta and Gerri Smith. A lifelong resident of Whitaker, Arlene retired as a Research Nurse at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh for the University of Pittsburgh. Memorial contributions are suggested in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Per Arlene's request, there will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, April 4, 10 AM, at Resurrection Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, West Mifflin.
