Arthur M. Barrera

Arthur M. Barrera, of West Homestead, passed away on December 13, 2021, at the age of 89. He was the beloved husband of 68 years of Marlene A. Barrera (Schotting); father of Lynne (Gary) Horensky, Lisa (Don Fennell) Barrera, and Arlene (Paul) Ceribelli; grandfather of Rachel (J. C.) Cole and Philip Horensky, Ashley Nicole (Evan) Dalzell, and Joshua, Adam, and Gabriel Ceribelli; great-grandfather of Jackson and Levi Cole, and Corgan David and Reagan Nicole Dalzell; son of the late Paul and Elvira Barrera; and brother of Joe Cerda, Juanita Muñoz, and the late Emily Winchell, Paul Barrera, Dolores Cefola, Rebecca "Becky" Leight, and Mary Blain.

Arthur had proudly served in the Army during Korea, and spent his career as a craneman for US Steel Homestead Works. He was an avid lover of life, and enjoyed many different hobbies, but he most enjoyed spending time with his family. His girls were his pride and joy, and nothing delighted him more than to watch his family grow. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
