Austin David Arovits

Austin D. Arovits, of West Mifflin, passed away unexpectedly from a tragic motorcycle accident on August 24, 2024, at the age of 22.

He was the beloved son of Sarah (Michael) Caldwell and Stephen Arovits; cherished brother of Victoria, McKenzie, Evan, and Emily; adored grandson of David "Sloan" and Edina Hess, Stephen Arovits, Kim Cheslock, and Schultz and Cindy Caldwell; treasured nephew of David, Tim (Jena), Joe, Rachel (Robert), Megan, and Andrew; also survived by a large extended family of great-grandparents, cousins, beloved friends, and his Olive Garden family.

Austin loved riding his motorcycle, and was patiently restoring his 1979 Camaro. He enjoyed building his LEGO sets and expanding his collection of firearms and swords. Austin had a rock-solid relationship with Jesus, and lived by His example as a kind, caring, and selfless person.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, August 28, 1-4 & 6-9 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 29, 10 AM, at the Funeral Home.
