Carol Jean (Gavlak) Olczak

Carol Jean Olczak, of Munhall, passed away on August 14, 2024, at the age of 79.

She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley Olczak; adoring mother of Renee (Ben) Balistreri and Stanley Olczak; loving Ma of Bentley; daughter of the late William and Helen (Lucas) Gavlak; sister of the late Gerald Gavlak, Raymond Gavlak, and Priscilla Smecker; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Carol enjoyed playing BINGO, going to the beach, and spending time with her family. She was a former secretary with the University of Pittsburgh and Burlington Coat Factory.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, August 19, 5-8 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Rich Zelik on Tuesday, August 20, 10 AM, at St. Therese of Lisieux Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Munhall. Interment to follow at St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery, Munhall.
