Cecelia Mary (Mullen) Urban

Cecelia Mary (Mullen) Urban, of Whitaker, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 12, 2023.

She was the daughter of the late Robert “Bob” and Sophia (Rusnak) Jeziorski; the loving wife of 53 years to Daniel Urban; beloved mother of Lori Urban of Whitaker, Daniel A. (Tracy) Urban of Gettysburg, PA; and the dear grandmother of Josie Urban and Peter James “P.J.” Urban.

Cecelia lived a rich and fulfilling life. She graduated from West Mifflin South in 1964 and became the Head Cook for West Mifflin School District. She was a member of the St. Michael Greek Orthodox Church in McKeesport. In her free time Cecelia loved to read, play cards with her friends, and was an avid bird lover.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 5 – 8 PM, at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 AM, August 16, 2023, at the Funeral Home with an interment to follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery, West Mifflin.
