Charles E. "Chuck" Eichler

Charles "Chuck" Eichler, 83, of Espyville, formerly of West Mifflin, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family on October 16, 2021, after a long, brave battle with cancer.

He was the son of the late Charles C. and Helen M. (Hake) Eichler of Whitaker. He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 61 years, Sandra S. (Barko) Eichler; children, Renee (Mike) Devine, Lisa (Mark) Tkach, and Eric (Lisa) Eichler; grandchildren, Shelby (Josh) Meneely, Jake (Thea) Tkach, Casey (Cory Rodgers) Johnson, Erika Eichler, and Luke Eichler; and great-grandchildren, Gracelyn Rodgers and Maclaine Meneely. He will be missed by his loyal companion, Ava.

Chuck worked as an inspector for Westinghouse Electric. He most cherished spending time with his family, especially during deer season at the Block House. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was often found on the lake in Pymatuning. He was so very proud of his grandchildren, and took great pleasure in sharing in their accomplishments and achievements.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 21, from 6-8 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120, where a Blessing Service will take place at 7:30 PM. Condolences may be left at www.swgfuneralhome.com.
