It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Craig Oskin, a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend, who touched the lives of many with his kindness and gentle spirit. Craig peacefully left this world on January 12, 2024.
He was the husband of Cathy (Dowden) Oskin; son of Frank R. and Jean (O’Hara) Oskin; brother of Mary Beth (Richard) Patrick and Donna (Jason) Nawojski; uncle of Sarah and Adam Patrick. Craig is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was also a caring pet parent for his two dogs, Mathilda and Helen, and his cat, Sir Reginald.
Craig was an extraordinary man, known for his compassionate heart and the warmth he radiated to those around him. Throughout 28 years of marriage, he and his wife created a haven of love and understanding, creating a home filled with joy, laughter, and enduring affection.
Craig enjoyed photography and searched often for incredible scenes and moments to change into life-long photographs. He loved to read, and he looked forward to tropical vacations at exotic destinations where he could relax with people close to him. Craig was a great conversationalist who could talk to anyone.
Craig's legacy is one of love, empathy, and unwavering support. His commitment to his family and friends was immeasurable, leaving behind cherished memories that will be held close to the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.
As we grieve the loss of Craig, let us also celebrate the remarkable life he lived—a life filled with compassion, love, and selflessness. In the quiet moments, may the echoes of his laughter and the warmth of his kindness bring comfort to those who mourn.
Craig will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the immeasurable impact he had on the lives of those who were touched by his grace. May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love that he so generously shared throughout his remarkable journey.
