Daniel Stanicar

Daniel Stanicar, of Munhall, was born to Joseph and Margaret (Dusetzina) Stanicar on June 22, 1956. He passed suddenly on January 18, 2023, at the age of 66. Along with his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his stepmother, Margaret Gaydovchik; and his brothers, Joe and Bob Stanicar. He is survived by his sisters, Alice Leopold and Margaret Ransom; and his brother, David Stanicar.

Dan was fiercely patriotic and served with the US National Guard in a Special Forces unit. He was a devout Catholic and was always willing to lend a hand to family or friends.

Arrangements were entrusted to the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 10 AM, at the St. Agnes Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, West Mifflin. Please meet at church. Inurnment will follow at All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
