David H. Best

David Best, of Jefferson Hills, passed away on February 4, 2021, at the age of 81. David was born on December 19, 1939 to the late Harry and Margaret Best of Munhall, PA. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Janet (Sanka) Best. He was the brother of triplet sisters, the late Carolyn (Harvey) Morgan, Evelyn (Ernie) Cadman, and Marilyn (Raymond) Fries; brother-in-law of Loretta Terrick; and uncle to nine nieces and nephews. He and his wife, Janet, also treasured their lifetime friends, Beverly and Cliff Hines, and 6 dogs which were family members throughout the years. David was employed by US Steel, Homestead Works, for 25 years as a Machinist in the "Big Shop." His hobbies included hunting, trap shooting, and listening to 60's music. He was a member of the Clairton Sportsman Club, the NRA, and American Legion Post #0380. Friends and family to be received on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, 10 AM - 12 noon at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120.
