David P. Curl
August 7, 1947- April 13, 2023

Age 75, of Lincoln Place/Munhall, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. 

Son of the late Johanna and Matthew Curl; Beloved husband for 49 years of Diane (Stanley) Curl; loving father of Michael and Nick (Allya) Curl; Proud grandfather and best friend of Nico and Dominic Curl and furry grand pup Sarge; brother of Mary (Mike) Russell, and Bobbie (Kenny) Holieb; also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

David was a Vietnam Veteran with numerous decorations including the Bronze Star. He completed his service as a Sergeant in the 41st infantry division of the United States Army where he was honorably discharged in 1968. 

David was an avid golfer who took up the game as a teenager. He enjoyed being outdoors, beach vacations with his family, golf trips, and caring for his lawn. He loved coaching and watching both of his sons play sports…spending countless hours at the field and in the back yard. David was a doting grandfather (Pappy) who cherished every moment spent with his grandsons. David was a wonderful man who will be missed by all that loved him. 

David’s wishes were to be cremated and for those he loved to not dwell in sadness over his passing.
