David E. Zedo

David E. Zedo, of North Charleston, SC, formally of West Mifflin, peacefully passed away on January 24, 2026, at the age of 65.

He was the son of Rosemarie (Shimko) and the late Edward Zedo; brother of the late John Zedo; nephew of Barbara (Guy) Melocchi and the late Betty Jane (Ed) Timco; cousin of Anthony (Kim) Melocchi, Lori (John) Jumba, Sharon (George Marton) Chornyak, and the late Robert (Cecilia) Tenner; second cousin of Maria Melocchi, Joe (Madeleine) Melocchi, Emily and Jacob Jumba, Joe (Kelly) Chornyak, Robert “Bobby” Tenner, and Erika (Bill) Talaga, along with their families; and his numerous friends in North Charleston, SC.

David was an honored member of the Omar Shrine of Mt. Pleasant, SC for many years. Although he lived most of his life away from his hometown, he was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan and wore his Black and Gold proudly. He loved to spend his days fishing and hanging out with friends.

With respect to David’s wishes there will be no services held. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Wanda and Sheldon who were with David during his final days.
