Dolores M. (Hruska) Wetzel

Dolores M. Wetzel, of Munhall, was welcomed home by her beloved late husband, Henry E. Wetzel, Jr., on April 20, 2023, at the age of 91.

A Devout Roman Catholic, She was the mother of James (Theresa) Wetzel, Donna (the late Joseph) Mercuri, George (Lisa) Wetzel, and Edward (Stellie) Wetzel; grandmother of Marc Wetzel, Stephen Wetzel, Carlee (Frank) Mullett, Gina Mercuri, David (fiancée, Kiara) Wetzel, Jessica (John) Wiitala, Nicholas (girlfriend, Melanie) Wetzel, Robbie Dixon, Zachary (fiancée, Sara) Wetzel, and Hannah Wetzel; great-grandmother of Chace and Lucy Mullett, and EllieMae Wetzel; daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Fenyus) Hruska; sister of the late Owen George and Joseph Albert Hruska; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Dolores loved reading, gardening, and traveling to the farm, but she was most passionate about her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a caring person who fostered an immense faith.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, April 23, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Mass will be held the following day on Monday, April 24, 11:30 AM, at the St. Therese of Lisieux Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Munhall. Entombment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park, Pittsburgh, where Dolores will be reunited with her husband, Henry.
