Donald V. Collins

Donald V. Collins, of Munhall, passed away on January 7, 2022, at the age of 86. He was the beloved husband of 61 years of Patricia Louise (Jakim) Collins; proud father of Sean Collins; grandfather of Hannah, Rachel, and Jacob Collins; son of the late John J. and Alice C. (Brown) Collins; brother of John James (Audrey) Collins, and the late George (wife, Dorothy, survives) Collins and Sr. Patricia Collins; brother-in-law of Rita Bruno; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Don proudly served for 24 years in the Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam eras, and then spent the remainder of his professional career with the Veterans Administration.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, January 10, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 10 AM, at St. Therese Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Munhall. Interment will take place on Thursday, January 13, 11 AM, at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville. PLEASE MEET AT THE CEMETERY NO LATER THAN 10:45 AM.
