Edward V. Madero

Edward V. Madero, of Munhall, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the age of 96. 

Son of the late Samuel and Edith (Storto) Madero; husband of the late Lois (Galisin) Madero; father of Victoria Arnold; stepfather of Marleen Simcic and the late Robert Simcic; grandfather of Angela (Christopher) Petro and John (Isabelle) Malta; great-grandfather of Edison and Wesley Malta; brother of the late James (late Judith) Modero; godfather of Debbie (Jack) Pawling; extended family members, Robert (Sandy) Arnold; also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. 

Edward was a veteran of the Army serving in WWII and a retired steelworker with US Steel. 

Friends will be received on Tuesday, August 8, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., 3501 Main St., Munhall, PA 15120. A Blessing Service will take place in the funeral home on Wednesday, August 9, 10 AM. Interment to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
