Edward William Middleton Jr.

Of Ohio Township, formerly of  Homestead, on September 9, 2023, age 73. Son of the late Edward William Sr. and Ethel (Hayward) Middleton; preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Marsha; caring father of Jessica (Benjamin) Neu; loving grandfather of Elizabeth and Gregory; brother of the late Patricia Brickley, Jim, and Mark Middleton.

A Vietnam Veteran, Bill worked at Mine Safety Appliance Company for the majority of his career where he advanced in the company and fostered some of his most cherished relationships. He enjoyed time spent at the beach, on the golf course and was a proud graduate of Duquesne University. He also loved coaching basketball and building sets and props for the local high school drama department. In his later years, he found great joy in watching his grandchildren dance and spending time with his “pool buddies.” Following Bill’s request, there will be no visitation.  Arrangements entrusted to SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC.  Memorial contributions are suggested to The Baierl Family YMCA. https://www.pittsburghymca.org/donate
