Edward J. Masley

Edward J. Masley, of West Homestead, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 2, 2023, at the age of 91.

He was welcomed home by his beloved late wife of 60 years, Virginia (Casey) Masley; loving father of Michael (Joni) Masley of Munhall, Edward (Trish) Masley of Phoenix, AZ, and Maureen (Michael) Cerda of Munhall; adoring Pap of Jerred (Amanda) Masley, Michael Cerda, Chris (Tessa) Cerda, Melissa Cerda, and Ana Masley; great-grandfather of Colby Cerda; son of the late Andrew and Mary (Holinchak) Masley; brother of the late Andrew, John, and Albert Masley, Mary Milutis, and Ann Savko.

Ed was an Air Force Veteran who served during the Korean War. He retired from US Steel, Homestead Works, after 38 years of service. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Locust Grove Nursing Home, Gateway Hospice and Ed's personal caregivers, Felicia Eads and Megan Nolan.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, April 4, 2-4 & 6-9 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, 11:30 AM, at the St. Therese of Lisieux Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Munhall. Interment will follow at St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery, Munhall.
