Eileen (Gillespie) Bell of Pittsburgh, passed away unexpectedly on December 15th 2023, age 81. Daughter of the late James W. and Anna Eileen (Powers) Gillespie. Daughter-in-law of the late Henry and Hazel Bell. Beloved wife of the late George D. Bell. Loving and devoted mother of Patrick D. (Melissa) Bell. She is survived by her loving sister and best friend Linda (Gary) Pfirrmann and her brother-in-law William (Donna) Bell. Predeceased by her brother James William Jr., brother-in-law Robert (wife Anna Marie survives) Bell, sister-in-law Sandra (husband Roy survives) Pruitt. Beloved Aunt and Godmother of James (Eleanor) Pfirrmann, Karen Lesniak and Kristen (Anthony) Pfirrmann-Parker. Great aunt to Joseph Parker, John Alexander, James Jr. and Isabela Pfirrmann and Lauren Lesniak. Cousin of Patrick J. (Tina) Stretavski and Mary Georgene Carney. Also survived by many other nieces and nephews. 

Eileen was a devoted Catholic and longtime member of St. Mary Magdelene, St. Maximillian Kolbe and St. Therese Church of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish. She loved to cook and spend time with her friends, family, and neighbors.

Friends will be received Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home Inc., 3501 Main St. Munhall, PA on Thursday December 21, from 2-8 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday December 22, at 11 AM at St. Therese Church of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish. Internment to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
