Eileen C. (Cloonan) Morris

Morris, Eileen Teresa Cloonan, age 70, of Carnegie, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2023. Beloved wife for 45 years to the late Robert J. Morris; loving mother of the late Angel Morris and stepmother of Tracy (Kevin Dibert) Searight; cherished sister of Patrick (Anne) Cloonan, Joseph (Krista) Cloonan, Timothy (late Debra) Cloonan, the late Colleen Cloonan, and late Kathleen Kampe (William survives); step-grandmother of Brittany, Michael, Jenny and Jessica Searight; and close to a long list of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, in Pennsylvania and Texas.

In many ways a concerned and caring matriarch to the descendants of her late parents Margaret (Leister) and Joseph P. Cloonan, who likely heard "well done, good and faithful servant." She had many good times with her double-first cousins Patricia Parker, Bootsie Kumer, Mary Pinyot and the late Elaine Osmanski. She was a memorable aunt to Kayla Kampe, Cristy Kampe (Michael) Klacik, Candice Kampe, Brian (Kimberly) Cloonan, and Kenneth (Bethany) Cloonan, as well as the late William and Jeremy Kampe, step-aunt to Christopher and Nick McGavern, great-aunt to Jeremy, Katie, Maxwell and Christopher Klacik; Jasmine and Alyssa Weiss, and Jameson and Jordan Recker; Ivy Cloonan; Lenore and Edward Cloonan; and Sawyer McGavern. She also was a longtime driver for Port Authority of Allegheny County: and an avid photographer, first as a volunteer while Angel was a student at Oakland Catholic High School, and then for family events, creating annual calendars using pictures from family events.

Friends received Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home 3501 Main St. Munhall, Sunday July 2, from 5 – 8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 3, 10 AM, at the St. Therese of Lisieux Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Munhall.
