Elaine F. (Kosh) Pallof

Elaine F. Pallof, of Lincoln Place, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2023, at the age of 81. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Pallof; loving mother of David, Stephen, and James (Connie) Pallof; cherished Nana of David Pallof, Jr, Brittni (Daryl) Goodwin, Carolyn Pallof, Stephanie Pallof, Lea Pallof, and Jessica Pallof; daughter of the late Michael and Catherine (Schmidt) Kosh; and sister of Michael J. Kosh and June Grant; also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Elaine was born and raised in the same Lincoln Place house where she resided for 81 years. Some of her more memorable accomplishments include being a 60 plus year patron of the Holy Angels Church of the Blessed Trinity Parish, serving in the Christian Mothers Guild, and her contributions to the annual White Elephant Sale. Elaine was a true hostess when it came to card club, pool parties, and holiday celebrations in her formal dining room, where all were welcomed.

In addition to caring for her three sons, Elaine's love for children also extended to the Lincoln Place community. She served as a City of Pittsburgh Crossing Guard for 38 years where she ensured the safe delivery, both to and from school, for local area students. A special salute to Badge #124 as our hearts are broken but our minds will be forever etched with fond memories of your love, recipes, decorations, and flowers along the sidewalk. 

Visitation will be held Friday, February 17, 1-4 & 6-8 PM, at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, Pennsylvania 15120. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 18, 10:30 AM, at the Holy Angels Church of the Blessed Trinity Parish, Hays. Interment to follow at Jefferson Memorial Park, Pittsburgh.
