Emma L. (Churma) Sudo

Emma L. Sudo, of Penn Township, previously of West Homestead, passed away on December 6, 2023, a few weeks before her 90th birthday.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Sudo; father and mother, Mike and Anna Churma; and her brother, Mike Churma. She is survived by her sons, Edward (Nancy) Sudo and Bob (Cathy) Sudo; grandchildren, Matt (Leah) Sudo, Laura (Drew) Glavine, Emily Sudo, Mike Sudo, and Rachel Sudo, and Anthony and Zachary Sudo; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Georgeann (Chuck) Douglas of Dallas, TX; and 4 nephews and 4 nieces. Emma was a member of the Ladies Guild at St. Maximilian Kolbe of the St Thomas the Apostle Parish. She enjoyed hosting holiday meals and was known for her excellent Nut Roll and Cold Dough cookies during the holiday season.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, December 10, 1-4 & 6-8 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 11, 10 AM, at the St Maximilian Kolbe of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Munhall. Interment will follow at the Jefferson Memorial Park, Pittsburgh. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org/pa).
