Francis "Frank" Robert Bezak Jr.

Francis “Frank” R. Bezak Jr., of West Homestead, passed away unexpectedly on November 29, 2024 at the age of 77. He was the loving husband of Linda (Rombold) Bezak; the beloved father of Francis R. Bezak III and the late Michelle M. Bezak; the son of the late Francis R. Bezak Sr. and Elizabeth (Serwatka) Bezak; the grandfather of Alexis (David) Kimble; the great-grandfather of Caden and Miley Kimble;  brother of Ronald (Theresa) Bezak, Lorraine (late Kenny) Aheimer, Michael (late Elaine) Bezak, the late Thomas Bezak, Jerome (Marcy) Bezak, Mary Anne (John) Stanley, and Paula (Joseph) Fredland; the loving uncle of many nieces and nephews, and enjoyed a large extended family.

Frank was retired from the Port Authority of Allegheny County where he worked for much of his life and had proudly served in the United States Navy (1966 to 1970.) A committed Christian, Frank was a longtime attendee of the First Evangelical Free Church in McKeesport. He will be remembered fondly by his friends and family as an outgoing jokester who could easily strike up an in-depth conversation with total strangers.

Friends and family to be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120 on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM. A funeral service will take place that evening at 7 PM at the funeral home.
