George Murin

George Murin of Mt. Oliver, passed away on May 27, 2025, at the age of 92. He was the loving husband of the late Betty Jean (Hamel) Murin; the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Vansack) Murin; the father of Gail Walters, Darlene Murin, David Murin, Linda (Edward) Hazelbeck, Joyce Ann Murin and the late Michael Murin; brother of the late Elizabeth Erlewien. George will also be missed by his nine grandchildren and his thirteen great-grandchildren.

George was a Free Mason and was very active at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, where he served as church president along in many other capacities.

Friends and family to be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, 15120  on Monday, June 2, 2025 from 5 – 8 PM where a Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 7:15 PM.
